Join the Convoy to Carolina Relic Run 2025
April 11th- 13th 2025
Riverbend Campground 200-216 Mullinex rd Troy, NC
Each spring, the hills of Uwharrie National Forest echo with the sound of classic Toyota 4WDs as the Carolina Relic Run brings together Land Cruiser owners from across the region. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event—and Speed House is joining the celebration.
We’ll be rolling out from our shop in Durham on the morning of Friday, April 11, heading west for a weekend of trail riding, live music, and connection with the North Carolina off-roading community. Whether you’re bringing your own Toyota or just looking to link up with likeminded enthusiasts, you’re welcome to ride with us.
What is the Carolina Relic Run?
The Carolina Relic Run is an annual gathering focused on vintage Toyota Land Cruisers—especially those built in 1990 or earlier. Hosted by the Olde North State Cruisers and sanctioned by the Toyota Land Cruiser Association, the event takes place at Riverbend Campground in Troy, NC, with trail access into both Uwharrie National Forest and the private Grand Overland property.
The weekend includes group trail rides, a relic car show, a potluck dinner, live bluegrass, and a raffle packed with gear and giveaways. And while “Relics” get the spotlight, all Toyota 4WD vehicles are welcome.
Full details and registration info are available at carolinarelicrun.com/registration25.
Ride Out With Us
We’ll meet at Speed House HQ (505 N Mangum St, Durham, NC) at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 11. Expect coffee, gear checks, and a quick briefing before we hit the road by 9:30 AM. Our goal is to convoy in together and arrive by midday to get set up and settle in before the Friday night potluck and live music kick off.
This isn’t a formal event for Speed House—just a chance to show up, get dusty, and support a community we’re proud to be part of.
Look for Us on the Trails
We’ll have a few of our past Land Cruiser clients in the mix, bringing down a few or our 4x4s for sale, and our team will be out capturing content and soaking up the atmosphere. We'll be easy to spot in our new shirts so come over and say hi!
Whether you’ve wheeled with us before or you’re just curious about what we do, this is a great opportunity to share stories, get some trail time, and enjoy one of the region’s most authentic Toyota 4WD gatherings.
