The Case for Original Paint
Faded, checked and honest: what an old finish can tell us that a perfect respray cannot.
Original paint is a record. Thin edges, careful touch-ups and sun-softened surfaces reveal how a car was used and cared for.
Preserving it is not always possible, but recognizing its value should come before reaching for the sander.
