Seller FAQ

Before you hand us the keys.

How long does consignment usually take?

Timing depends on the car, preparation plan and sales venue. We establish a realistic schedule during evaluation and keep you involved as it develops.

Where will my vehicle be advertised?

We match the car with qualified collectors through our buyer network, direct presentation and, where appropriate, carefully selected national auction platforms.

What if the car needs work before it is offered?

We can coordinate mechanical work, cosmetic preparation, detailing, documentation, professional photography and videography. Nothing proceeds until you approve the plan.

Can you work with a vehicle that is not in Durham?

Yes. Remote consignments can be coordinated case by case, including transportation, evaluation and the most sensible path for preparation and sale.

What happens after the sale?

Speed House coordinates the paperwork, cleared funds and buyer handoff. Seller payout is made within five business days after funds clear, less agreed fees and preparation costs.
