Recommissioning an early 911 without polishing away the tactile reasons it survived.
The brief was reliability without reinvention. Bushings, fuel lines and deferred service came first; cosmetic evidence stayed wherever it was sound.
The result still asks something of its driver. It simply answers with confidence now.
